Shoot it, Sketch it – A Duck at the Botanic Gardens

This week for Shoot it, Sketch it I took a photograph of a very friendly Duck! I actually didn’t want to leave as the Duck was following my partner & I around the park – it had so much personality.

I used a Black Copic Multi Liner & sketched this photograph, I haven’t done a quick sketch for a while! At Art School we were encouraged to do quick sketches all the time – I guess I’m usually too obsessed with intricate lines, detail & colour. It was nice to attack the drawing with loose strokes & a relaxed hand :)
