Moth or Butterfly?? at the Botanical Gardens

On Sunday I captured this shot at the Botanical Gardens of a Moth resting on a leaf. I only captured 1 shot until it flew away & this is it! Enjoy x

      • The latin name for the family is Hesperiidae. We have eight species in the UK. If it helps a butterfly usually has clubbed ends to its antennae, a moth’s are usually feathered at the end. Skippers have this characteristic moth like pose with the fore- and hindwings held at different angles.
